Youtube socialcommunity management
As a freelance Senior Community Manager with Monks, I support YouTube’s campaign social presence for the core channel: @YouTube, leading day-to-day community management, content publishing, and engagement across the brand’s social channels. I manage the scheduling and publishing of content both natively and through Sprinklr, while proactively and reactively sourcing opportunities for YouTube to engage with creators, fans, and cultural conversations in ways that feel timely, relevant, and true to the brand’s voice.
I have developed and executed community engagement strategies across major campaigns and cultural moments, writing copy aligned with campaign briefs, creative strategy, and YouTube’s distinct tone of voice. My work has included YouTube’s 2025 End-of-Year Recap, the NFL’s Flag Football Game on YouTube: London Edition, Lady Gaga’s “The Dead Dance” release, Lola Young’s I'm Only F**king Myself album release, Tyla’s A*POP album release, and Phoebe Bridgers’ Lost Weekend album release. Across these campaigns, I sourced high-value engagement opportunities and translated cultural and audience insights into platform-native copy designed to drive conversation and strengthen YouTube’s connection with its communities.
I also supported YouTube’s Winter Olympics programming, managing scheduling, content calendar coordination, and publishing needs throughout the campaign. Through a combination of hands-on channel management, cultural fluency, and strategic community engagement, I help ensure YouTube shows up consistently and authentically across both everyday conversations and major cultural moments.
